Our Mission

Empowering students and educators across the Argyle Independent School District through scholarships, teacher support, and community programs.

The Argyle Education Foundation (AEF) was founded in 2003 by a dedicated group of passionate parents and community leaders who shared a common vision: to provide meaningful, lasting support for the students and teachers of the Argyle Independent School District. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into one of the most impactful educational non-profits in Denton County, North Texas, and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex area.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, AEF operates with full transparency and accountability. Every dollar donated goes directly toward programs that enrich the educational experience for Argyle ISD families. Located at 7200 FM 407, Argyle, TX 76226, AEF is deeply rooted in the Argyle community and committed to serving the rapidly growing Argyle Independent School District, which spans parts of Denton County in the heart of North Texas.

Since its founding, the Argyle Education Foundation has contributed over $2.3 million to Argyle ISD. These funds have directly supported classroom innovation, teacher recognition, student scholarships, and community enrichment programs. In 2024 alone, AEF presented an impressive $142,800 to the Argyle Independent School District, underscoring the foundation's continued growth and impact.

Our Programs

Senior Scholarships

Each year, AEF awards four $1,000 scholarships to graduating Argyle ISD seniors. These scholarships recognize achievement in STEM, health sciences, community service, and technology or skilled trades. To date, AEF has awarded over 100 scholarships, helping Argyle graduates pursue higher education and career training.

Teacher Support

AEF provides annual bonuses to every teacher and staff member across Argyle ISD, recognizing their dedication and hard work. Through the prestigious Golden Eagle Awards, the foundation also honors outstanding educators who go above and beyond for their students. Over 500 teachers have been supported through these programs.

Lil' Eagle Kinder Club

The Lil' Eagle Kinder Club is AEF's signature welcome program for incoming kindergarteners and their families. This program builds excitement and community connection before the first day of school, with special events, spirit gear, and opportunities for families to become part of the Argyle ISD community from day one.

The Argyle Education Foundation is governed by a dedicated board of directors consisting of an executive committee and nine directors, all of whom volunteer their time and expertise to advance the foundation's mission. The board ensures that AEF operates with integrity, fiscal responsibility, and a clear focus on the needs of Argyle ISD students and educators. Under the leadership of Director Cara Armstrong, AEF continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact across the district.

AEF's annual fundraising efforts, including the highly anticipated Branded Ball gala, bring together community members, local businesses, and families to raise funds that directly benefit Argyle ISD. These events reflect the spirit of generosity and community pride that defines the Argyle area and the broader North Texas region.

Whether you are a parent, educator, business owner, or community member in the Argyle, Denton County, or DFW metroplex area, there are many ways to get involved with the Argyle Education Foundation. From donating and sponsoring events to volunteering your time, every contribution makes a tangible difference in the lives of Argyle ISD students and teachers. Together, we are building a stronger foundation for educational excellence in our community.
